Embrace a moment of refreshing clarity with our Kyoto Aftershave Splash. Crafted to perfectly follow your Kyoto Shaving Soap, this invigorating splash tones and soothes your skin, leaving it feeling calm and renewed.

Imagine yourself in a tranquil tea hall, the soft light filtering through the shoji screens as you hold a bowl of matcha. A gentle breeze carries the delicate, sweet scent of sakura blossoms from the weeping cherry tree just outside. The air is still, save for the subtle whisper of water features in the serene garden, and a faint, soothing hint of incense lingers from a nearby temple.

The serene, clean aroma of this sensory postcard to Japan's ancient capital—a harmonious blend of delicate Sakura, earthy Matcha, and meditative incense made of Sandalwood, Agarwood, and Frankincense—continues to evoke peaceful gardens and timeless traditions, extending your moment of quiet reflection throughout the day.

Beyond the captivating scent, our Kyoto Aftershave Splash is enriched with ingredients chosen to care for your skin. Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel are included for their traditionally soothing and toning properties, helping to calm the skin after shaving. We've also added Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), known for their skin-conditioning qualities, along with Glycerin to help maintain your skin's hydration. Natural extracts like Chamomile and Green Tea further enhance this soothing and comfortable post-shave experience.

Directions for Use

Using an aftershave splash is a classic way to finish your shave, offering a refreshing and sometimes astringent sensation. Here is how to use it:

When to Apply:

Immediately after shaving, once you've rinsed your face and patted it dry.

Apply to dry skin. Unlike a balm, an aftershave splash works best on a drier surface.

How to Apply:

Cleanse and dry your skin: After shaving, rinse your face thoroughly with cool water to remove any leftover shaving cream, loose hairs, or debris. Pat your face completely dry with a clean towel.

Dispense a small amount: Pour a small amount (about a coin-sized puddle) of aftershave splash into the palm of your hand. Start with a smaller amount, as these products can be quite potent.

Pat onto shaved areas: Gently pat the aftershave splash onto your shaved areas, such as your cheeks, chin, jawline, and neck. Avoid rubbing vigorously, as this can irritate freshly shaven skin.

Allow to air dry: Let the aftershave splash evaporate naturally on your skin. You'll feel a refreshing, often tingling sensation as it dries. Do not rinse it off.

Follow with moisturiser (optional but recommended): If your skin tends to be dry or sensitive, or if your aftershave splash has a high alcohol content, you may want to follow up with a dedicated facial moisturiser after the splash has fully dried and absorbed. This helps rehydrate the skin and prevent dryness.
