Complete your journey to tranquility with our Kyoto Aftershave Balm. Crafted to perfectly follow your Kyoto Shaving Soap, this exquisite balm offers immediate post-shave comfort, calming and hydrating your skin without any heavy residue.

After a close shave, your skin deserves a moment of calm and replenishment. Our aftershave is thoughtfully crafted with Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid, known for their hydrating and comforting properties, to help your skin feel refreshed. We've also included Witch Hazel, traditionally used to soothe the skin, alongside Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Squalane to promote a feeling of balance and nourishment. Finally, Green Tea Extract and Vitamin E are incorporated for their antioxidant qualities, helping to leave your skin feeling soft and protected.

Imagine yourself in a tranquil tea hall, the soft light filtering through the shoji screens as you hold a bowl of matcha. A gentle breeze carries the delicate, sweet scent of sakura blossoms from the weeping cherry tree just outside. The air is still, save for the subtle whisper of water features in the serene garden, and a faint, soothing hint of incense lingers from a nearby temple.

The serene, clean aroma of this sensory postcard to Japan's ancient capital—a harmonious blend of delicate Sakura, earthy Matcha, and meditative incense made of Sandalwood, Agarwood, and Frankincense—continues to evoke peaceful gardens and timeless traditions, extending your moment of quiet reflection throughout the day.

Directions for Use

Using an aftershave balm is a key step in your post-shave routine to soothe, hydrate, and protect your skin. Here's how to use it:

When to Apply

Immediately after shaving, once you've rinsed your face.

Apply to damp skin, not soaking wet. This helps the balm spread easily and absorb better without feeling greasy.

How to Apply:

Cleanse your skin: After shaving, rinse your face thoroughly with cool water to remove any leftover lather, loose hairs, or debris. Pat your face gently with a clean towel, leaving it slightly damp.

Dispense a small amount: Pour a pea-sized amount (or a little more, depending on the area you've shaved) of aftershave balm onto your fingertips or into your palm. Remember, a little goes a long way.

Gently massage onto shaved areas: Apply the balm to all the areas you've just shaved, such as your cheeks, chin, jawline, neck, and upper lip. Use light, circular motions to gently massage it into your skin until it's absorbed. Pay extra attention to areas that are prone to irritation or redness.

Allow to absorb: Give the balm a few moments to fully absorb into your skin before applying any other products like moisturiser or sunscreen. This allows the balm's soothing and hydrating ingredients to work effectively.
