The Fragrance

The scent opens with a sparkling invitation of Bergamot and spicy Pink Pepper, leading into a heart of aromatic Lavender and buttery, powdery Orris. As the lather builds, it reveals a rich, "sweet barbershop" base of Oakmoss, Amaretto, and Vanilla Bourbon. This boozy, almond-wood finish evokes the warmth of a Parisian patisserie and the glowing charm of a moonlit date.

The Formula

Meticulously crafted for a dense, protective lather, our tallow-based artisan soap focuses on premium ingredients known for their exceptional skin-conditioning properties:

Tallow & Rich Butters: Tallow is highly valued for being naturally rich in Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Combined with Shea and Kokum butters, it provides a remarkably smooth glide.
Nourishing Oils: A blend of Jojoba and Avocado oils, celebrated for their emollient qualities and wealth of nutrients.
Skin Comfort: Includes Allantoin and Silk Amino Acids, ingredients often found in high-end skincare for their soothing and softening attributes.

Directions for Use

For an exceptionally smooth and comfortable shave, follow these simple steps:

Prepare Your Face: Warm your skin by taking a hot shower or using a hot towel. Preparation is half the journey!
Prepare Your Brush: Briefly soak your shaving brush in warm water. This helps the bristles soften and retain lather.
Load the Soap: Squeeze excess water out of your brush and swirl it firmly over the surface of the shaving soap in its tub or bowl for 30-45 seconds. Make sure to change direction and orientation of the brush to load the brush evenly.
Build Your Lather: Apply the soap directly to your wet face, using painting and/or circular motions. This helps lift and soften your beard. The soap may feel pasty and dry. This is good. Add a few drops of water by lightly wetting the brush under running water or by by dripping the tips in a pre-filled bowl or mug. Then, continue building the lather. Continue this way until you get a dense, creamy, and shiny consistency.
Shave: With your face fully lathered, proceed with your preferred razor. Shave with the grain first, then re-lather and shave across or against the grain for a closer result, if desired.
Rinse & Finish: After shaving, rinse your face thoroughly with cool water. Pat dry and follow with your favourite aftershave balm or splash for optimal skin comfort.
